Blue Knights
Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club
Wisconsin IX

Lakeshore Chapter
The BLUE KNIGHTS is a non-profit fraternal organization consisting of active and retired law enforcement men & women who enjoy riding motorcycles. In the Spring of 1974, Ed Gallant from the Bangor, Maine P.D. and Chuck Shuman from the Brewer, Maine P.D. met with five other officers from the area and formed a small, local motorcycle club. The rest, as they say, is history. Soon, Blue Knight chapters were being formed in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and beyond. With the addition of Canada, and later Australia, the Blue Knights became an international organization. As of  January 1, 2007, we have 586 chapters and almost 20,000 members in 28 countries.
Our chapter was chartered in October 2004. Six members of the Green Bay Chapter (WI X) joined fifteen new members to form WI IX in the Manitowoc/Two Rivers area of Wisconsin. The Chapter now has over 30 members. We are located on Lake Michigan between Milwaukee and Green Bay.
Our chapter business meetings are held monthly at the Chief's Clubhouse in Manitowoc. All Blue Knights and their guests are always welcome to join us. During the riding months we have informal rides planned by our road captains. In addition in August we have our yearly "Knights Ride to Remember" memorial ride.
